Shelbi's Senior Portraits

I was a bit skeptical about how bad the weather was for Shelbi's portraits.  It was cold and wet but none the less I love how these turned out!  I loved Shelbi's pink dress and how it popped against the dreary weather. Poor Shelbi was such a trooper bearing the freezing cold in that cute dress!  She really likes Alice In Wonderland (one of my favorites as well) so I tried to give her some Wonderland type themed portraits to fit that wonderful vibrant personality.  I always enjoy doing Senior Portraits due to the artistic twist I get to put on them!

The Speraw Family

I LOVED this family!  When I got to the parking lot little Sissy jumped out of the car and upon meeting for the first time opened her arms up wide and gave me a big hug!  I immediately fell in love!  The Speraw kids were so adorable and so sweet!  I walked this poor family everywhere looking for the gardens before FINALLY finding them.  I was expecting the kiddos to be worn out but they were the biggest troopers and were totally enthusiastic the entire time!  Beautiful smiles from such a beautiful family!  They are the reason why I love what I do!

I hardly ever play with Sepia tone but while playing with some of the colors I created this, though I'm pretty sure the Speraw Family would look beautiful in whatever color I put them in.  I couldn't decide which effect I liked better so I posted both of them.... I'll let you decide!

The Jennings

The Jennings and I searched for months for the perfect location for their family portraits until we came across The Japanese Gardens.  None of us had ever been and it was actually a beautiful day!  There were little waterfalls everywhere and the gardens were the perfect place for the Jennings.  The laid back atmosphere fit the Jennings to the core!  They were so easy going and incredibly photogenic.  I've really enjoyed playing with all the colors.

Kasulka Baby

I was excited when the Kasulka's asked me back to take portraits of their newborn, Emily.  I couldn't get over how tiny and beautiful she is.  She made the cutest little sounds while sucking on her pacifier and the family couldn't be happier and more proud!
