The Sanchez Family Christmas Portraits

This shoot could not have gone any better!  Little Amelia was such a trooper!  I have yet to see a baby make it through an entire shoot but Amelia set the bar.  She was so happy and so curious and at times I found myself just watching her take in her surroundings instead of actually taking the pictures.  Then there were times where I couldn't put my camera down.  Isn't she just the sweetest?

Kenzie's mom came along and I could not be more appreciative of all her help.  When it comes time for me to get an assistant, she will be the first person I call/beg!  I had so much fun with this family!  It's sessions like these that make me love what I do!  I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do!

Baby Joaquin's 1st Christmas!

I have to hand it to all photographers who have mastered the art of photographing newborns because let me tell you how hard it can be!  I have only done a handful of newborn portraits and being that Joaquin is a bit tinier than any newborn I've held I was extra careful at positioning him.  Don't let that sweet face fool you though, he was one stubborn little guy!  Mommy fed him and let him sleep and when I went in to position his little hands he jerked and twitched and wouldn't have anything to do with how I wanted him positioned!  Needless to say: 1 Joaquin, 0 photographer!  So I worked around him and let him sleep.  He is just too sweet and Mom & Dad almost had to kick me out because I could have stayed there all night.

Joaquin is only a few weeks old and you can tell by the looks on their face how happy and proud Mom & Dad are!  I couldn't be happier for Michael & Kris!  They are such a sweet couple and make a beautiful family!  Congratulations to the Curry family!  I wish you guys all the best and can't wait to watch little Joaquin grow up!

Here are a few shots from Michael's Maternity Shoot....

Betsy & Jeremy Tie the Knot! Texas Old Town Wedding

I met Betsy & Jeremy last summer to shoot the first few weeks of their newborn twins.  I not only fell in love with their two beautiful boys but couldn't get over the love and adoration these new parents had for the twins.  I was ecstatic when Betsy called and told me she and Jeremy were having a beautiful country wedding out in Kyle, TX.  Betsy's father hand made the beautiful wooden signs that hung from the aisle chairs.  I loved the personal messages and cute, witty words.  Each chair had its own custom, carved piece of wood with personalized words, memories, or mention of Betsy & Jeremy's bright future.

Let me tell you this bride had some crafty and creative ideas and her personal touch was everywhere from another set of twins wheeling the bride & grooms baby twins down the isle in a Radio Flyer red wagon, to the mason jars lit with candles that adorned every dinner table.  The bridesmaids were a hoot!  Watching them cut up, cry, hug and laugh while they got ready was the highlight of my day.  The groomsmen were another bunch of craziness!

Thank you Betsy & Jeremy for inviting me to capture and be apart of your special day!  I wish the two of you all the best with your beautiful family and look forward to keeping in touch!  CONGRATULATIONS!!

Betsy & Jeremy were married at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX.
