The Hillard Family Portraits

I have known Alex for over 5 years now.  Alex is the owner of Edelweiss Salon.  She was my hair stylist on my wedding day and is not only an amazing stylist but a wonderful friend.  I have loved watching her beautiful family grow over the years and it's always such a treasure getting to spend time with them all.  I knew I had my work cut out for me when Alex spotted the "perfect" family sitting on the other side of a barbed wire fence, at the top of a steep hill with loose gravel, under what we thought was an old abandoned railroad track.  But those of you who have worked with me know that I'll do just about anything for a good shot!  I love all the natural lighting captured that day at sunset!  It was a true hot summer day and The Hillards were total troopers!
